What is a domain name?
A domain name is your internet address. A domain name is unique
to your website, meaning, no two domain names are the same.

Where can I check if a domain name is available?
Actually, all domain name registrants have domain check in their
websites. Before you can register a domain name, you have to
check first its availability.

What is allowed in a domain name?
The only allowed characters in a domain name are the 26 letters
of the English Aphabet, numbers 0-9, and dashes (-). You can
have a domain name with up to 63 characters. Although domain
names can contain dashes (-), it can not begin and end with
a dash.

I already have a domain name, how can I
use it for my account here?
When you order a hosting acount from us, a domain name is required.
By the time your account is set-up, you have to change the Nameservers
of your domain name in order to point it to your new server
with us. To do that, contact your domain name registrar and
ask them to make changes to the DNS entries of your domain name
as follows:
Primary DNS: NS1.DREAMCODEHOSTING.NET - (65.247.184.235)
Secondary DNS: NS2.DREAMCODEHOSTING.NET - (65.247.184.236)
If you are granted management of your domain name by your registrar,
then you can do the changes yourself.

How do I create my subdomain?
To create subdomains, login to your Control Panel. Click on
Subdomains Icon or Link. Supply in the base
name for your subdomain in the blank field before .yourdomain.com.
Click on Add button. This will create a folder
with the name of your subdomain inside your public_html directory.
Upload your subdomain files in this directory. You will then
have a name.yourdomain.com.

How long does it takes to register a domain
name?
Domain names take only minutes to register. However, changes
to your nameservers will take up to 24 hours to take effect
and up to 2-3 days to propagate in the internet, before it can
fully be pointed to your server.

No. You have to have a domain name first before you can get
an account with us.
