UNIX Hosting
NOC1
The NOC facility housing our Plesk UNIX hosting is equipped
with redundant UPS systems, generator backup, VESPA detection
systems, closed circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances,
card key access, 24 hour guard manned security, redundant a/c
systems, and fibers from 7 seperate providers for ultimate redundancy.
The NOC is connected to Gigabit links of Internet backabones from
Cogent, Verio, Time Warner, and Williams, and additional OC3 links
from Savvis and DS3 link from ELI.
NOC2
The NOC facility housing our cPanel hosting is equipped
with state of the art facilities. The NOC offers complete redundancy
in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security.
Multiple Liebert and PowerWare UPS battery backup power, and an
onsite permanent generator power ensures power redundancy. Fire
suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including VESDA
(very early smoke detection apparatus). The NOC is utilizing key
card access with CCTV for maximum security.
The network is fully meshed and redundant with 6 backbone providers-
ATT (OC3), UUNet (OC3), InterNap (2x100Mbps), Qwest (1Gbps), and
Cogent Communications (5x100Mbps).
Windows and FreeBSD Hosting
The Data Center housing our Windows and FreeBSD hosting
is OnNet with Level(3) and and Qwest, and includes
private peering network connections to major Internet carriers
such as MCI, Sprint, UUNET, EUNET, AT&T, AOL, Best, Erols,
@Home, IBM Advantis. Having two Tier-1 backbone providers eliminates
downtime since if one provider goes down, the other kicks in.
Their routing software uses BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) between
2 OC3's, thus maintaining download speed of sites.
